Forward Programming Field ID <XXXX> Reference
Some receiver updates might not require a transmitter update, but will have new messages that the transmitter doesn’t support.

Example
One specific case of this is DX G2 radios no longer receiving updates after 2.11. Some receivers received an update (3.2.7 on Jan 6, 2025) which includes some new messages not supported in the DX radio
